Was reading a post on Ajaxian about the redesign of the Microsoft homepage
The design looks nice. But they seem to have included some new fancy stuff like the popup divs which seem to have some javascript issues atleast with firefox.
So i opened it in IE. It freezed IE also for a while.
But after a while it was OK in IE.

The IE blog says that IE 7 was released this afternoon for you to download.
Today we released Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP. I encourage everyone to download the final version from http://www.microsoft.com/ie.
Does IE7 pose a threat to firefox ? Would be interesting to track the Browser Battle
