Nokia E61i lost all contacts

I feel i made a mistake by choosing the Nokia E61i. The so called Enterprise phone does not give 1 damn warning when deleting all contacts when uninstalling the Blackberry connect software. The cost – lost all my contacts and calendar entries on the phone.

Luckily I have an old backup of my 6630 to give me some peace.

The phone does not come pre-installed with blackberry connect. You have to manually initiate the setup. I did it and paid the price for it.

But not 1 warning anywhere. I m afraid Nokia loosing its trustworthiness !

Yes Varun I Agree with you…..the same thing happened to me 2 days back. U were lucky to have your back-up in place. Its sad a company like Nokia doesnt even care for Its customers data. I lost all my contacts and Calender enteries

it happened to me yesterday when i’ve uninstall the BlackBerry Application.
it will cause your contacts and Calendar entries disappear..
I Think Nokia should prepare about loosing some of their customers..

Thanks God i’ve the back up.
But, some of the data have to re-input..

I just lost my PIM data too!!! (by uninstalling Blackberry Connect)

I’ve lost some key contacts in the process.

Is there no workaround? Is there a file left behind, that can be found with file-manager or SOMETHING??
