hi!! i have a problem regarding xampp… uhmm.. i want to see my website on other pc in other place.. but my wan IP.. has an error.. it can’t access my xampp folder… what should i do? do i need to install my IIS? or are there any settings that i should change regarding my router and xampp.. please help..

httpd-SSL.conf in \\apache\conf\extra\

DocumentRoot “C:/xampp/htdocs”

ServerName localhost:443
ServerAdmin admin@localhost

where 443 change it to 4499

IIS:123

But apache still dont work
anythingelse I did not do ?
80 still busy. and it’s free when I type in “netstat -aon”

Sweet! I had it the other way around: the new machine I got at work came with IIS started for some reason. Wasn’t sure if it was needed for the running of the system and I could disable it, so I just followed your instructions and now I can run Apache without problems. Cheers.

Just to say thanks to you i could fix it!!
usin xampp version 1.6.1

just a little difference in apache 2.2 in the file
httpd-SSL.conf in \\apache\conf\extra\

where 443 change it to another one

Hi Folks,

For conflict issue,we have to modify \apache\conf\httpd.conf file.please change port number 80 to some other port say 84.there will be 2 entries in the file,make sure you have modified 2 entries

hmm i think i did something wrong, have the same situation with you guys, i changed the ports already, Apache still will not start..
